What is Points?

Points is a customizable Side Game.

You choose the number of betting units tied to each point, then manually assign points to players or teams during the round.

Points is a good fit when your group already has its own game or wants to reward custom achievements.

How does Points work?

Points can be played as an individual or team game.

During the round, you enter the points won by each player or team. 18Birdies tracks the point totals and shows who is ahead or behind.

How do I start a Points game?

To start Points:

1. Start a round in 18Birdies.
2. Add the players who will be part of the round.
3. From the GPS screen, tap the Group icon.
4. Tap Add Side Games.
5. Select Points.
6. Choose Individual or Team play.
7. Select the players or teams.
8. Set the starting and ending holes.
9. Set the betting units per point.
10. Tap Start this game.

You may be able to tap Save my preferences to save the settings for future Points games.

How do I assign points?

To assign points:

1. After a hole is completed and scores are entered, tap the Group icon.
2. Tap Assign Points.
3. Tap the pencil icon in the points column.
4. Enter the points won by each player or team.
5. Add a description or note, if helpful.
6. Return to the scoring or GPS screen.

A positive number shows how many betting units a player or team is ahead. A negative number shows how many betting units they are behind.

How do I view the Damage Report?

The Damage Report shows the game results and point totals.

To view it:

1. Tap the Group icon during the round.
2. Tap Game Details.
3. Review the scores, assigned points, and betting units.
4. Return to the GPS screen when finished.
