What settings do I choose during round setup?

During round setup, you may be able to choose:

• Course
• Round type
• Starting hole

How do I change round settings during a round?

To change available round settings during a round:

1. Open the active round.
2. Tap Tools in the bottom-right corner.
3. Tap the Settings tab.
4. Tap Round Settings.
5. Update the available setting.
6. Save your changes.

How do I set my round visibility?

Round Visibility controls who is able to see your round activity from the Community tab.

Visibility options include:

You may be able to set visibility during round setup, change it during the round, or adjust it later from the completed round’s privacy settings.

How do I exclude my round from handicap, stats, and leaderboards?

During round setup, you have the option to exclude the round.

When a round is excluded, it will not count toward your 18Birdies Handicap, stats, or leaderboards.

This can be helpful for:

• Practice rounds
• Test rounds
• Non-standard formats
• Rounds where you do not want the score to affect your stats or handicap
• Rounds with unusual rules or incomplete scoring

You may also be able to change this setting during the round from Tools > Settings > Round Settings.

What does Tournament Mode do?

Tournament Mode is used when a round needs restricted settings for competitive play.

Tournament Mode may limit or disable certain tools, such as advanced GPS features, Plays Like, Club Recommendations, or other features depending on the event rules.

Use Tournament Mode when required by an event, league, or competition.

What does contributing pin location mean?

Contributing pin location is an optional setting that may help improve pin or hole location information in 18Birdies.

You can turn this setting on or off during round setup under Other Settings or during the round.

This setting is optional and is not required to start, play, or save a round.
