What features are not available in Course Preview?

Course Preview is meant for exploring and planning a course before you play.

Some in-round features, such as scoring and stats, may not be available in Course Preview.

If you want to test more in-round features, you can start a test round instead.

How do I start a test round?

A test round lets you try more in-round features without being at the course.

To start a test round:

  1. Open the 18Birdies app.
  2. Tap Play on the bottom menu.
  3. Set your Round Visibility to Only Me, so friends aren’t notified of the test round.
  4. Tap Start Round

After starting a test round, you may be able to try features such as GPS, score entry, stats, side games, and adding friends.

Important: If you start a test round only for practice, avoid saving it as a real completed round unless you want it included in your round history and stats.
