Keeping Score

To keep score and track stats with 18Birdies during your round of golf, use one of the following methods.

Method 1 - Classic Scoring from GPS
  1. Once a round has started, tap the blue pencil at the bottom of the GPS screen.
  2. Tap "Open Stats"
    1. Tap the icons corresponding to your achieved Fairway Hit position (L/√/R), Green in Regulation (√/X), and number of Putts, Chip Shots, Greenside Sand Shots, and/or Penalties
  3. Tap the number that corresponds with the total strokes taken on that hole.
    1. For scores higher than 10 or less than 2, select the three white dots (‘...’) on the right corner of the grey score box.
  4. Tap the right directional arrow at the bottom of the screen to advance to the next hole.

Pro-Tip : If you are having a bad hole, tap Pick Up from the scoring screen to automatically give yourself a 10 for the hole.

Method 2 - Classic Scoring from Scorecard
  1. Once a round has started, tap the To Par icon near the bottom right corner of the GPS screen.
  2. Tap the corresponding white box for current hole played in the Gross column on the scorecard.
  3. Tap Open Stats
    1. Tap the icons corresponding to your achieved Fairway Hit position (L/√/R), Green in Regulation (√/X), and number of Putts, Chip Shots, Greenside Sand Shots, and/or Penalties
  4. Tap the number that corresponds with the total strokes taken on that hole.
    1. For scores higher than 10 or less than 2, select the three white dots (‘...’) on the right corner of the grey score box.
  5. Tap the right directional arrow on the top right side of the screen to advance to the next hole.
Method 3 (Premium Members Only)
Use Strokes Gained to take Shot Tracking to the next level! Recording every shot detail with strokes gained will automatically generate pro-level stats tracking and Hole-by-Hole Historical Stats
Pro Tip: Use this to take advantage of the Strokes gained feature and to save all of your shots during the round!

Group Scoring

You have a couple of options when it comes to Group Scoring.

  1. Once you have started your round and added the guest player, tap the Group icon on the GPS screen.
  2. Then tap the blue pencil icon under your guest player's name.
Method 2 - Scorecard
  1. Alternatively, tap the 'To Par' icon below the Group icon, pictured above.
  2. You'll be taken to the scorecard; tap the blue pencil icon in the hole score box on the scorecard to open the scoring screen.
