How to Connect with Your Coach on 18Birdies

Are you a student on 18Birdies looking to connect with your coach? Here's a quick guide to help you get started!

Step 1: Access Your Student Side Homepage

To connect with your coach, you need to access your Student Side Homepage. If you haven't linked with a coach yet, you'll see the guide to help you get started.

Step 2: Share Your Unique Link or QR Code

To share your link, follow these steps:

1. Tap on "Copy Link" to add it to your clipboard. 
2. Share your link with your coach via SMS, social media, or any other communication platform you use.

Alternatively, you can generate a unique QR code by following these steps:

1. Tap on "QR code". 
2. Show the QR code to your coach for them to scan. 
3. You can also add the QR code to your website, social media, print materials, etc. 
4. Scan another 18Birdies user’s QR code to connect in the app by tapping on "Scan" and opening the camera on your phone.

Step 3: Connect with Your Coach

Once you have shared your unique link or QR code with your coach, they can use it to connect with you on 18Birdies. Once you are connected, you can:

• Send swing videos and get quick feedback 
• View your performance and trends 
• Easily communicate with your coach

How to Use the Swing Video Feature in the 18Birdies App

Capturing your swing on video can be a great way to get feedback from your coach and improve your game. With the 18Birdies app, you can easily record your swing and share it with your coach for feedback. Here's how:

1. Open the 18Birdies app and navigate to the My Coach List section. 
2. Tap on the "Take Swing Video" button (blue button) to start recording.
   *select which coach you want to send the swing video to if you have multiple coaches. 
3. Open the camera to record your swing, with or without a club. 
4. Tap the red record button to start recording and tap it again to stop recording. 
5. Trim your video to fit your entire swing within the time allocated by moving the editor right or left. 
6. Tap "Next" to generate a preview of the swing video and review it. 
7. Tap "Send" to send the video to your coach. 
8. Your coach will receive a push notification once the video is uploaded successfully.

How to Link with Your Coaches in the 18Birdies App

If you have multiple coaches, you can link with them in the 18Birdies app to easily share your swing videos and receive feedback. Here's how:

1. Open the 18Birdies app and navigate to the My Coach List section. 
2. Tap on the "Link with your coaches" button to share your link or QR code to connect with your coaches. 
3. Tap "Copy Link" to add the link to your clipboard and share it with your coach via SMS, social media, or other communication platforms. 
4. Tap "QR Code" to generate a unique QR code and show it to your coach to scan. 
5. Add the QR to your website, social media, print materials, or other platforms. 

Tap "Scan" to open the camera on your phone and scan another 18Birdies user's QR code to connect in the app.
