What are Scoring Goals and how can I find them?

Scoring Goals give you something fun and measurable to chase every time you play.

Whether you are trying to break 100, 90, 80, or 70, your Scoring Goal helps 18Birdies show what it may take to get there. During your round, you may see targets, milestones, and progress updates that help you understand how your score is tracking and what parts of your game can help you reach your goal.

What are Scoring Goals?

Scoring Goals are personal targets that help you track progress toward a score milestone.

Available Scoring Goals include:

  • Break 100
  • Break 90
  • Break 80
  • Break 70
  • I Don’t Have One Yet

For example, if your goal is to break 90, 18Birdies may show targets that help you understand what it could take to reach that score.

Scoring Goals focus on:

  • Pars
  • Birdies
  • Greens in Regulation
  • Fairways hit

These targets can help you understand what parts of your game are helping or hurting your progress toward your goal.


How do I set a Scoring Goal?

To set or change your Scoring Goal:

  1. Open the 18Birdies app.
  2. Tap Me on the bottom menu.
  3. Open Course & Round Stats.
  4. Tap the Scoring Goal card.
  5. Select your goal.
  6. Save or close the screen.

You may also be prompted to set a Scoring Goal when first using the app.


Where do Scoring Goals appear?

Scoring Goals may appear during or after a round.

You may see Scoring Goal progress:

  • From the stats section of a scorecard during a round
  • When you reach milestones or targets during a round
  • In round or performance summaries

As part of your Scoring Goal, 18Birdies may show progress updates during your round so you can see how you are tracking toward your target score.
