We've reduced the number of taps required to score and record stats, and we've made it easier to use the many great tools in 18Birdies.
Let's break it down.
Navigation, Share, Settings
1 - Hole Navigation
Tap the Hole arrow to display a drop-down menu to allow you quick navigation to any hole on the course.
2 - Share
Share your on-course experiences by tapping the Share icon to quickly share the hole you played or share your entire round to the Feed.
3 - Settings
Configure your round just the way you like it by tapping the Settings / Gear icon in the upper right corner of the new Play screen.
Tap Finish Round at any time to move the round to your Round History. Any incomplete rounds will be indicated in your Round History as an Unconfirmed Round.
Shot Information, Target Line, Scorecard
4 - Shot Information
The Shot Information bubble is your hub for planning shots. The top number in the Shot Information bubble represents the elevation change (Premium Members). The larger middle number represents the true distance to that specified location.
At the bottom of each Shot Information bubble you will find your Club Recommendation, as determined by Caddy+.
5 - Target Line
The Target Line remains largely unchanged. Simply tap, hold and drag the white target circle to update distances, elevation change and club recommendations with the ease of an agile ninja.
As you move the target circle to your desired location, information on the Play screen with update in real time; giving the best chance at nailing your next shot.
6 - To Par
We keep the 'To Par' information bubble on the GPS screen at all times so you never lose track of your performance.
Tap the 'To Par' bubble to quickly navigate to the Scorecard.
Solid Shot, Scoring and Navigation, Advanced Tools
7 - Solid Shot
In the Solid Shot panel, tap the orange Solid Shot button to record a new Solid Shot. Tap the Total number to see the round-up of all of your Solid Shots.
8 - Scoring and Navigation
You asked, we listened.
Easily navigate to the next hole, or jump back to the last score by using the Hole toggle buttons on either side of the blue pencil.
Tap the blue pencil to record your scores and stats.
