How do I add players to my round?

To add players during round setup:

1. Start a round in 18Birdies.
2. Choose your course and round settings.
3. When prompted, open the Add Player to My Group screen.
4. Add friends or guest players.
5. Confirm the players for the round.
6. Start the round.

You can also add players after the round starts.

To add a player during an active round:

1. Open the active round.
2. Tap the scorecard in the bottom-left corner.
3. Tap the option to add a player.
4. Add a friend, invite a player, or create a guest player.

How do I invite a friend to my round?

To invite a friend:

1. Start a round or open an active round.
2. Open the player or group section.
3. Tap the option to add or invite players.
4. Select a friend from your 18Birdies friends list.

The invited player will see a notification on their phone to join your round.

Round links and QR codes can help other golfers join or be added to your round.

To use a round link or QR code:

1. Open the round setup or active round.
2. Open the Add Player to My Group screen.
3. Use the round link or QR code shown at the top of the screen.
4. Share the link or show the QR code to another player.
5. Have the other player open the link or scan the code.
6. Confirm they are added to the round.

If you need to use a round link or QR code after the initial round setup prompt, open the active round and tap the scorecard in the bottom-left corner to add a player.

How do I add a guest player?

Guest players are useful when someone in your group does not have an 18Birdies account or does not need to join the round from their own device.

To add a guest player:

1. Start a round or open an active round.
2. Open the Add Player to My Group screen.
3. Tap Create a write-in guest player.
4. Enter the guest player’s name.
5. Add handicap or other details, if needed.
6. Save the guest player.

Guest player rounds are attached to your account unless the guest later connects the guest profile to their own 18Birdies account.
