Getting Started with Shot Dispersion
18Birdies makes it easy to track shots in a round. To get started, we recommend configuring your in-round GPS screen.
How to Configure Shot Dispersion
- Start a Round: When you begin a round in the app, ensure the Track Shot and Track Shot Recommendations settings are on.
- Set up GPS View:
- Tap the Tools icon on the GPS screen.
- Scroll down and tap the pin icon next to Track Shot. This will pin the tool for future rounds.
- Turn on Recommendations:
- Tap the Tools icon again.
- Go to Settings and toggle Track Shot Recommendations to the ON position. Now, you'll get suggestions for shot tracking during your round.
Using Track Shot and Shot Dispersion in a round
- Track Your Shot: After hitting your tee shot, tap the Track Shot button on the GPS screen.
- Add Aim Point:
- Tap the Add Aim Point button.
- Drag the Target icon to mark where you aimed or where you expect your ball to land.
- Track Your Shot: After hitting your tee shot, tap the Track Shot button on the GPS screen.
- Add Aim Point:
- Tap the Add Aim Point button.
- Drag the Target icon to mark where you aimed or where you expect your ball to land.
