Getting Started with Shot Dispersion

18Birdies makes it easy to track shots in a round. To get started, we recommend configuring your in-round GPS screen.

How to Configure Shot Dispersion

  1. Start a Round: When you begin a round in the app, ensure the Track Shot and Track Shot Recommendations settings are on.
  2. Set up GPS View:
    • Tap the Tools icon on the GPS screen.
    • Scroll down and tap the pin icon next to Track Shot. This will pin the tool for future rounds.
  3. Turn on Recommendations:
    • Tap the Tools icon again.
    • Go to Settings and toggle Track Shot Recommendations to the ON position. Now, you'll get suggestions for shot tracking during your round.

Using Track Shot and Shot Dispersion in a round

  1. Track Your Shot: After hitting your tee shot, tap the Track Shot button on the GPS screen.
  2. Add Aim Point:
    1. Tap the Add Aim Point button.
    2. Drag the Target icon to mark where you aimed or where you expect your ball to land.
  3. Track Your Shot: After hitting your tee shot, tap the Track Shot button on the GPS screen.
  4. Add Aim Point:
    • Tap the Add Aim Point button.
    • Drag the Target icon to mark where you aimed or where you expect your ball to land.
