What is Classic Score Entry?

Classic Score Entry gives you the core scoring inputs for your round.

You manually enter:

• Score
• Putts
• Fairways hit
• Greens in regulation
• Penalties
• Chips
• Sand shots

How do I enter score from the GPS screen?

To enter score from the GPS screen:

1. Start a round in 18Birdies.
2. Open the GPS screen.
3. Tap Enter Score.
4. Enter your score for the hole.
5. Add any basic stats, such as putts, fairway result, green in regulation, penalties, chips, or sand shots.
6. Save or continue to the next hole.

Entering basic stats gives you more useful round summaries and performance data after your round.

How do I enter score from the scorecard?

You can enter or edit scores from the scorecard at any time during your round.

This is helpful if you forgot to score a hole, need to correct a previous hole, or want to review multiple holes at once.

To enter score from the scorecard:

1. Start a round in 18Birdies.
2. Tap Scorecard.
3. Select the hole you want to update.
4. Enter your score and basic stats.
5. Repeat for any other players or holes you want to update.
6. Save your changes.

You can go back to earlier holes and update scores or stats whenever needed during the round.

How do I keep score for multiple players?

If you added other players to your round, you can enter scores for each player from the GPS screen or scorecard.

To keep score for multiple players:

1. Start a round and add the players to your scorecard.
2. Tap Enter Score from the GPS screen, or open the Scorecard.
3. Select the player you want to score.
4. Enter that player’s score and stats.
5. Tap the next player.
6. Repeat until each player’s score is entered.

Important: The person keeping score is responsible for entering accurate scores for all players in the group, especially for guest players.

What stats can I enter?

Classic Score Entry includes the main scorecard stats for your round.

How do scorecards and scorecard symbols work?

The scorecard shows your hole-by-hole score and round stats.

The scorecard can show scoring information such as:

• Gross score
• Net score, if available
• Score relative to par
• Hole-by-hole score

The scorecard can also show stat information such as:

• Putts
• Fairway result
• Green in regulation
• Penalties
• Chips
• Sand shots

Can I use shot tracking with Classic Score Entry?

Yes. Classic Score Entry can be used with optional manual shot tracking.

Classic Score Entry controls how you enter score and basic stats. Manual shot tracking lets you add shot details yourself if you want more detailed shot-by-shot data without using automatic Smart Tracking.

Can I switch from Classic Score Entry to Smart Tracking?

Yes. You can switch between Classic Score Entry and Smart Tracking during an active round.

To change scoring modes:

1. Open the GPS screen during your round.
2. Tap Tools in the bottom-right corner.
3. Tap the Settings tab.
4. Tap Round Settings.
5. Find the scoring mode option.
6. Select Classic Score Entry or Smart Tracking.
7. Save your changes.

Important: You cannot switch into a team scoring mode during an active round. If you want to play a team format, such as Scramble, Best Ball, or Alternate Shot, you will need to start a new round and select the team scoring mode during round setup.
