Classic Scoring
With 18Birdies, you can track every shot, keep score, and log statistics for every round you play. You can also compare your stats to your friends’ rounds or see how you stack up against other players at your home course.
To keep score and track stats with 18Birdies during your round of golf, use one of the following methods.
Classic Scoring from GPS
- Once a round has started, tap the blue 'Enter Score' at the bottom of the GPS screen.
- Tap the number that corresponds with the total strokes taken on that hole.
- For scores higher than 10 or less than 2, select the three white dots (‘...’) on the right corner of the grey score box.
- Tap "Add, Chips, Penalties and More"
- Tap the icons corresponding to your achieved Fairway Hit position (L/√/R), Green in Regulation (√/X), and number of Putts, Chip Shots, Greenside Sand Shots, and/or Penalties.
- Tap the number for the next hole to navigate to the next hole on the GPS.
Pro-Tip: If you are having a bad hole, tap Pick Up from the scoring screen to automatically give yourself a 10 for the hole.
Classic Scoring from Scorecard
- Once a round has started, tap the scorecard icon near the bottom right corner of the GPS screen.
- Tap the corresponding white box for current hole played in the Gross column on the scorecard.
- Tap Open Stats
- Tap the icons corresponding to your achieved Fairway Hit position (L/√/R), Green in Regulation (√/X), and number of Putts, Chip Shots, Greenside Sand Shots, and/or Penalties
- Tap the number that corresponds with the total strokes taken on that hole.
- For scores higher than 10 or less than 2, select the three white dots (‘...’) on the right corner of the grey score box.
- Tap the right directional arrow on the top right side of the screen to advance to the next hole.
Group Scoring from GPS
You have a couple of options when it comes to Group Scoring.
- Once you have started your round and added the guest player, tap the Group icon on the GPS screen.
- Then tap the blue pencil icon under your guest player's name.
Group Scoring from the Scorecard
- Alternatively, tap the 'To Par' icon below the Group icon, pictured above.
- You'll be taken to the scorecard; tap the blue pencil icon in the hole score box on the scorecard to open the scoring screen.
