Measurement of Success

Assessment Index

A composite index (0 – 100) based on the player performance (3 sessions trailing average score) from the various assessment drills in this plan.

To get your assessment index, you must log at least three sessions for each drill you receive. Your initial index is available after three sessions of the first drill.

3 Tier System

Every plan offers three different tiers, each with a distinct weekly training regime. All players begin with Tier 1 and progress to Tier 2 and Tier 3 based on their assessment index.

Once they complete the plan, they will have gone through all three tiers.

Weekly Drills in Tiers

Each plan will recommend a time minimum for weekly practice at home and weekly practice at the range.

For example, 60 minutes weekly at home and 120 minutes weekly practive at the range.

In your personalized focus introduction, we also give you a preview of the exact drills that you’ll be doing. Tap the Play button to watch any drill video displayed in the Home Drill, Range Drill, or Assessment Drill section.

Your Tier level progress is measured and based on your Assessment Index. To unlock more personalized plan tiers, complete drills from your current tier. This will increase your assessment index and help your progress to the next tier.

Tap Start with Focus to return to the school homepage.

Log Assessment

It’s critical to consistently repeat the drills included with your personalized plan. The more attempts you record for each drill, the higher your Total Score will be.

If you don’t see your assessment index, you must log at least three sessions for each drill you receive. Your initial index is available after three sessions of the first drill.

How to log your assessment

  1. Tap Log Assessment from the Golf School homepage.
  2. Select the assessment drill from your plan.
  3. Watch the assessment video, then complete as many attempts of the drill as you can (max. 20)
  4. Enter the number of attempts you have completed for each section, then tap Log to submit.

Your Attempts should be evenly spaced out in time, so you have plenty of time to absorb what you’ve worked on. We recommend breaking each session into 5 attempts.

Remember, perfect practice makes perfect. So, time and discipline are your friends. The more time you spend focusing on a certain aspect of your game, the more you should expect to improve.
