Finding and Saving Courses

The Courses tab helps you discover places to play, look up course details, save your favorites, and build a Bucket List of courses you want to play someday.

Whether you are searching for your home course, looking for somewhere nearby, planning a golf trip, or keeping track of courses you have already played, the Courses tab gives you a simple way to find and organize the courses that matter to you.

How do I search for golf courses?

To start searching for courses:

1. Open the 18Birdies app.
2. Tap Courses on the bottom menu.

From the Courses tab, you can search by course name, browse nearby courses, use filters, or open your personalized course lists.

How do I search for a course by name?

If you know the course you are looking for, you can search for it directly.

To search for a course by name:

1. Open the 18Birdies app.
2. Tap Courses on the bottom menu.
3. Tap the search bar.
4. Type the golf course name.
5. Select the course from the search results.

If you cannot find the course, try shortening the course name or using a different search term.

If the course still does not appear, contact support@18birdies.com so we can review whether the course is available in 18Birdies.

How do I search for courses on the map?

The course map is a great way to browse nearby courses or explore places to play in a specific area.

To search with the map:

1. Open the 18Birdies app.
2. Tap Courses on the bottom menu.
3. Tap the Map button.
4. Browse courses near your location.
5. Tap a course on the map to view more information.
6. Open the Course Profile for full course details.

You can also use filters from the map view to narrow your results.

How do I use course search filters?

Course filters help you narrow your search results based on the type of course or course details you are looking for.

To use filters:

1. Open the 18Birdies app.
2. Tap Courses on the bottom menu.
3. Tap a suggested tag below the search bar, or tap the Filter icon.
4. Select the filters you want to apply.
5. Review the filtered course results.

Saved Courses

Saved Courses are courses you want to follow or quickly access again later.

How do I save a course?

To save a course:

1. Open the 18Birdies app.
2. Tap Courses on the bottom menu. 
3. Search for a course.
4. Tap the Bookmark icon on the top right of the course card

You can also add to your Saved Courses from the course profile:

1. Open the course profile.
2. Tap the Bookmark icon.
3. Select Add to My Saved.

After saving a course, you can find it from your Saved Courses list.

How do I view my Saved Courses?

To view your Saved Courses:

1. Open the 18Birdies app.
2. Tap Courses on the bottom menu.
3. Tap the Bookmark icon in the upper-right corner.

Bucket List

Bucket List Courses are courses you want to play someday. Use your Bucket List to keep track of dream courses, travel ideas, or local courses you have not played yet.

How do I add a course to my Bucket List?

To add a course to your Bucket List:

1. Open the 18Birdies app.
2. Tap Courses on the bottom menu. 
3. Search for a course.
4. Tap the Bookmark icon on the top right of the course card

You can also add to your Bucket List from the course profile:

1. Open the Course Profile.
2. Tap the Bookmark icon.
3. Select Add to My Bucket List.

How do I view my Bucket List?

To view your Bucket List:

1. Open the 18Birdies app.
2. Tap Courses on the bottom menu. 
3. Tap the Bookmark icon in the upper-right corner.
4. Tap Bucket List.
