How to keep your phone screen "On" at all times

If you'd like to keep your phone screen "On" (or active) at all times, please follow the suggested steps below for your device.

Please note that if your screen is always active while you are on the GPS screen of the 18Birdies app, you may experience significant battery drain.

Apple iPhone / iOS

  1. From your iPhone home screen, find and open Settings.
  2. Tap Display & Brightness.
  3. Choose from one of the available time options, or select Never.

Android

  1. From your Android device home screen, find and open Settings.
  2. Tap Display.
  3. Tap Screen Timeout.
  4. Choose from one of the available time options.
    Android devices currently do not offer a Never or Always On option.
