Reasons Why A Swing Video Might Fail Analysis or Processing

There are a couple of common reasons that a swing might fail to be analyzed. We totally get how frustrating it is trying to improve and having a video fail analysis. Take a look below for some solutions to some common problems we have run into when analyzing a swing.

The clubhead or part of the body moves out of the frame.

In order to analyze a swing, a golfer's body and golf club will need to be in the frame for 100% of the video clip.

The filming angle is off.

The AI Coach will only be able to read a swing that is filmed in either the face-on or down-the-line viewpoints. The face-on angle should have the camera directly in front of you when addressing the ball. Down the line is with the camera to the right of your body for right-handed golfers and to the left of your body for left-handed golfers. Any other angle other than directly face-on or down the line may make your swing not able to be analyzed.

Not enough Lighting or the golfer's clothing is too dark.

If the video or the golfers' clothes are too dark for the AI to distinguish body positions, the swing may fail to be analyzed.

Too far away from the camera - If the subject is too small in the image, the AI may not be able to distinguish between the different body positions.
