To get the most out of 18Birdies, we highly suggest you try our in-round features like the GPS, scoring and stat tracking before your first round to get familiar with using the app on the course.

Location Services

When you have Location Services enabled, you get the full power of the GPS.

Pro Tip: Access the GPS screen only when needed. This will help conserve data usage and battery consumption.

Turn on Location Services

iPhone

• Go to your iPhone's Settings.
• Tap Privacy, then tap Location Services.
• Scroll down and tap 18Birdies
• Decide to allow location access Never or While Using the App.

Android

1. Open your device's Settings.
2. Tap Apps, find 18Birdies, tap this.
3. Tap Permissions.
4. Tap Location to toggle on and off.

Notifications

With Notifications turned on, you get notifications each time one of your friends starts a round in the app and goes Live.

You also will get periodic notifications for personalized Game Improvement Plans and Local Events like tournaments and outings.
